Help with Trident

Boy am I having a tough time with this thing. W/o summarizing the last 2 hours (and still not up and running), the unit started out blue as it was supposed to, but is now blinking orange....going on 45 minutes. My Fusion still hasn't recognized it. Any suggestions?

I will take a stab at this as I have the Trident also and found it rather easy to setup. Lets go thru a list, have you keep your apex 2016 updated to the current update of 5.05 9B19, did it ask you to update the trident as mine did when I set it up, did you use their set up wizard. Sorry for all the question, but they are necessary.
