How can I undo this?? The previous owner glued the Union onto it ?

VERY carefully and from a long distance away on low setting, heat the inside of the tube with a propane torch. Try to twist the tube every so often. Eventually the glue will release. I’d also put some water in the bottom of that chamber and aluminum foil on the inner sides to protect them from the radiant heat.

Well I was actually wondering how to undo the black piece that came with the sump I need to get into that spot to pull out a bunch of pvc

it looks like from top to bottom it’s Union -adapter - bulkhead. And the adapter is glued to the bulkhead. Is there a nut you can unscrew from under the bulkhead? It should then just pull up

The idea is to get the heat to work it’s way through the tube and that black piece where it contacts the actual sump material. This will hopefully cause any adhesive anywhere in between to fail. If the adhesive is in a threaded portion, the heat might make it possible to unscrew the thing.

Are those pieces glued??? To the sump?

Possible. You never know with people sometimes. It’s likely just the tubing that was loaded with pvc glue (which was completely unnecessary for that part)
It spins freely I just need it to come up. And it’s like a bulk head but not. I see no nut on the inside

It was just threaded. So I needed help from my roommate so I could hold on to the bottom piece better
In the future, a tool like this can help you get leverage and grip on plumbing. It really helped me when I was dry fitting and pipes were getting stuck in fittings.
