I did my first icp test and just want some experienced reefers to look at and see if i should be worried or not to "chase numbers"

I have so new methods i want to do before i send off another test too.

I don't see what is hard to concern here. Your Magnesium is amazingly high! So you are doing the test wrong, or dosing too much. Bromine, who knows, maybe the salt mix. You have a source of silica, maybe get better RO water or it's the sand? Rest looks OK.

See that what was concerning i dont dose anything and my mag is that high. And i was gonna get upgrade kit for my ro system to run more di resin and run that for alittle then send another test in.

I'd test mag, I like the aquaforest kit if you dont have one already.

Reefers have collected water samples one after the other, sent them off to different ICP companies, and gotten different results. Things can happen in shipping/if the test is not carried out properly. Unfortunately ICP is not perfect so just double check, might be accurate, might not.

Well i know for a fact it is high then 1500 on salifert test kit so it wasnt suprising it was high but not that high

I agree the magnesium is too high. Are you adding any?

You may or may not benefit from a trace element supplement (e.g., vanadium, iron, etc.).
No i dont add/dose nothing. I usually do monthly 20% water changes but stopping that and switching to triton method.

Triton method doses stuff, doesn’t it?

Yes but i havent started that method yet. I did a water change about a month ago with instant ocean. I wanna get away from the water changes.

ok. What salt mix?

Either the salt mix is off or the icp testing is in error if you haven’t added magnesium.
With it being that high is there anything to worry about? Im pretty sure its salt mix seeing hpw even with my salifert test kits its above 1500
