Hey everyone!
I got my Triton Results back and everything was pretty good except for two elements were off the charts. Lithium and Silicon. RODI water is ALWAYS TDs. Anyone have luck in removing these elements from their system. I have a poly filter and was hoping that might absorb some. I have hundreds of frag plugs in this system so I think that may be my source of everything but since this is a frag tank system there is no "removing the source". I may try to soak all my plugs from now on in a bucket of RO to try to leach as much as I can out from now on.

Lithium is a common containment in our salts. Some salt brands have been known to be higher than others, but I don't believe it has had significant impact on any livestock (that we know of at this time anyway).

Silica/Silicate vs non-soluble form is impossible to distinguish via ICP testing.

"Tests that analyze for silicon, such as ICP (inductively coupled plasma) can include silica particulates (e.g., fine sand) in the result. Even with filtration, fine particles can evade removal. Consequently, it is complicated to extrapolate from an ICP measurement to a soluble silicate concentration." (Homles-Farley; https://www.advancedaquarist.com/2003/1/aafeature1)

I wouldn't worry about this much.

@Randy Holmes-Farley any other considerations? :)

Thanks for the info, So basically don't worry about these two? They were the only ones in my test that were flagged. I still think I'm going to soak my plugs before I use them, it wont hurt anything.
