Help with versa pump!!

I bought a used versa pump from a fellow reefer.
I downloaded Mobius to set it up. The app can see it and says it is part of another aquarium
I have reset it both through the software and hard reset. It says its reset

When I try to add it the lights blink it says connecting to device, creating network, and at the setting group I
get and error "unknown error"

when I click retry I get the final error "failed to create a Thread network, please try again"
I have tried for over 3 hours to connect the pump.

Has anyone had this problem? I am open to solutions.

Are you running it on a iPhone or Android device?

If it's an Android, try and clear the cache and also make sure you give access to "location".

Following. Having same issue . I have contacted the Customer support. But they replied with stupid answer so I emailed them again that they're very unsupportive. They are finally going to look into this issue.

Having same issue here, worst part is that pump is a new pump but everytime I trying to add to my existing networks of others versa keep me saying same message as you guys: device is part of an aquarium, if you would like to add it to a new tank it will reset. At this point I did same thing as you guys: reset, update firmware and still keep showing same error: Failed to add device to Thread network

Same problem here. Following. I bet it’s a glitch with the newest update in which another update will fix it. Here’s hoping

Same issue here! I’ve had the versa since the first batch and its been flawless until today. Getting same cant. Connect to thread network message. Just emailed support, hope its a firmware issue

Did anyone got a reply from Ecotech customer support? still cant get a hold on them.

Just heard from the this morning they said their software engineer found something and there should be an update coming shortly. I just tried to add the versa again and it was a no go

They already release the update to the Mobius application, go to the app store and manually download the update. I haven’t tried yet, but another user here on reef2reef reported that is working now.
