So I recently got this reactor along with CO2 tank, and Pinpoint PH controller from someone in my apartment building complex who was moving out. He said he never used it and was in perfect condition. Once I set it up and connected everything, including the PH probe, I noticed that there was water overflowing from the PH probe port. I've read online that it might be missing an O-ring or some plug of some sort that wraps around the probe and prevents water from exiting the port. I was wondering if any of you know where I can get this O-ring/ plug? Or what can I do to stop the leak?

Order this and pull out the ring that's in it and put in the vertex fitting.

I think that should do the trick it's a standard 1/2" probe port holder. It's a common compression fitting. I don't think you'll be able to find the o-ring separately. Give it a try it's only 4 bucks plus shipping. I live in San Diego so it's another 3 bucks for 1st class mail parcel. Probably the same amount for shipping or not much more then that if you live in the states.

I have the vertex reactor. It's not set up yet but it's a awesome reactor.

Thanks...I have looked at it and did order one. Hopefully it'll do the job. Can't find much info on this reactor, do you have the same reactor?

You should be able to pull the compression sleeve from the fitting and slip it on to the probe then insert it into the probe holder that's permanently attached to the reactors lid, or you can open up the plastic fingers and insert the compression gasket into the fitting. If you do that the compression ring should bottom out against the fitting. Even if the ring is not exactly the same size as long as you can slip the probe through it and then screw the cap on to compress the seal I think you'll be ok. The other alternative is to contact vertex to see if they can help out.

Yes I have the same reactor. I just bought it last month. BRS has a video on setting it up in their 52 weeks of reefing series.
