Help with wavemaker -

I have a wave maker - aka a Jebao wave maker - and I have seemed to have really bad luck with it. It has seemed to "suck" my tangs especially where they would get stuck on it from the top and it would kill them. I have tried moving it up and down - lowering the water pressure on it and same result. What are some alternatives - kinda frustrated here because I had some beautiful tangs and that thing has been a tang killer. What are good other alternatives for the tank. As you can see the tank in the pic - what alternatives should i do - maybe go smaller wavemakers and put one on each side or ? Any insight would be appreciated. The tank is a Neptune Cube tank.

I swapped my jebao for two nero 5's with the fish guards. my tank size is about yours 91 gal total. i havent lost anything yet knock on wood. My jebao also made a ton of bubbles which my neros do not.
