Can’t get to it. Can only see from side of tank. Would have to create something to poke it

it looks like a sponge to me. I've had several show up and disappear in my tank.

Can sponges get pretty big. It’s pretty good size

If you look at it from the side with a bright light is it white in color? If so it could be a sebae anemone. I've seen those hide in rocks.

yes if your tank conditions are correct I have one that got almost three inches and then it shrank a bit but its almost back to three now. It's green. had another that looked like a spider web that was white. very pretty.
