Can someone help me with whatever this is. It's not bubbles at least I don't think so. I thought at first it was small particals that my filter socks were not removing but have ran 1 micron filter socks and a BRS reactor with i micron sediment filter but no help. Here's a run down of my system and tests with nothing that I can see standing out as wrong. It will get less if I slow the Gyre down but you can still see whatever it is in the water.
75 Gallon display in the wall with Sump and Refugium
Total SW volume 75 gallons taking in account for 60 lbs of live rock
Running Aquaforest Phosphate Minus in a media reactor.
Flow comes from a Maxspect Gyre and a small powerhead
Lighting is 2 Galaxyhydro™ Led 55x3w Dimmable 165w Full Spectrum LED’s

NO3 5 ppm
PO4 .03 ppm

Do you have a sand bed? If you get less if you turn the gyre down I'd say it's particulate from sand/detritus that's not making it to the sump. Also, check your skimmer for micro bubbles.

Thx I will turn the pumps off later when the lights are on and just leave the Gyre on and see what happens. But I was taking a closer look at my sump and Skimmer and it looks like micro bubbles down there now all I have to do is figure out how to fix. I have Bashsea sump and Protein Skimmer here are some pics

It's the Protein Skimmer and have to figure this out. So any help anyone can give me I'll take I just raised the water level but made no difference. I also closed the gate valve one full turn but still no luck. I understand that any adjustments on the skimmer take time.
I have also sent a email to Bashsea for help but have not heard back yet.

Is there room in the first compartment for the skimmer? That helps with microbubbles.

Add one of those black foam blocks the whole height of the water so the water must run through it in the sump right after your skimmer, it’ll act as a bubble catch.
