Can someone plz tell me what these long white things on my zoas? Just noticed, but they have been staying closed for a week or 2 now. What should I do?

If they're not moving around, they're tube worms, which are harmless. I believe there are more down in the right of the pic. If they do move around then I'd say you may have a problem. Hard to tell from the pic. How long has the tank been up? Water parameters? What's on the rock above the frag? Looks algal in nature, to me.

Feather dusters or its a type of filter feeder nothing harmful.

If they are tube worms will they steal all the nutrients from the zoas? The tank has been up since 7/2/17. I believe that is sponge on the rock above the zoas.

No worries about the zoas. The tubeworms feed on micro-fauna in the water column and are no threat. They're actually good to have for some biodiversity. Stay on top of your water parameters and do your diligent weekly water changes, as this tank is so new. IMHO, I wouldn't add any more critters to this system for a while. I just read some of your back posts. Good advice there. Invest in a good set of test kits if you haven't already. Let the system settle down, and wait to see if the "white spots" that were on your Swallowtail don't come back, just to be safe. Once some of these diseases get into a system it can take a couple of months to starve them out. I'm not saying you have something. I'm just recommending you slow down a bit. In the long run it'll save you headaches, heartaches, and money. Welcome to the obsession.
