Help: Yellow Porites Death?

Recently picked up a yellow Porites frag looked great at first but now it’s turning a dark brown from the base up and tips down. Any idea the likely cause and if there is anything to do at this point? Any suggestions for now or helpful guidance for the future would be appreciated. It’s been in the tank for about 2 weeks, photo is from today.

for placement It’s getting good light and high flow. Calc 400, Alk 8, Mag 1350. Temp 77.1 +/- .1, salt 1.025, ph 8.1-8.2 depending on time. Nitrates 2.

Those are some pretty significant shadows.

The tanks look pretty sterile. Is it new(er)? SPS can be really hard until the coralline starts to grow everywhere.
