I have a yellow tang that has red streaks starting x4 days ago. Only thing I did different was a water change and put some seaweed in for the him and other tank mates to eat. But I haven't changed my water change method since he was first introduced in the tank. I got online and read that he may have a bacterial infection due to poor water quality. The advise that was given was to do another water change or QT him with meds. But that sucker is so hard to catch to even put him in my QT. Anyone else have this problem with a tang or another fish? How do I cure him in the DT?

Here is a pic of him this am. He is looking so much better after your advice Humblefish. You were correct. My salinity had risen to 1.026. And I've never had my salinity that high. So I drained 5 g out of my 65g tank and replace it with just conditioned h2o. Then I checked the salinity and its back at 1.021. He now only has one streak on his top fin. Last night he was red streaked all over. Thank you for your help again Humblefish!!!
