Its having looked in my tank after dark I have zoa spiders I'm gonna have to setup a QT & dip them, but not having had a QT before what do i need just to keep corals in it? heat/light/water movement some sort of filtration?

Also anybody know the life cycle of these spiders? with no food how long will they live in my main tank before I can put all my zoa's back in please?

Do they lay eggs or give birth to live offspring???

Cheers Shelton.

how many have you seen?

i have run across a few in the last year, but they don't seem to be the reproducing plague that nudi's can be. a fw dip kills them, so i'm not sure you need to go the qt route.

I got 4 off one rock last night & 1 off another... these are super small about 2mm whereas the ones I've seen before that I killed with a mucho dip when I first bought them were about 5-6mm....

My trouble is a lot of my Zoa's are attached to the main rockwork so i don't know how much I can get out :(

Gonna run a QT tank for a couple of weeks atleast I see what I kill off before I decide how to go about it????

Most worryingly is NOTHING has gone in my tank Zoa wise that hasn't had atleast a 5min dip, so dunno how these survived? prehaps a longer dip of 10-15mins was/is required??

Cheers Shelton.
