can anyone ID This illness? I work at a pet store and I’m treating for parasites but I’m not sure what it is because it doesn’t look like ich.

This looks to be post ich and skin irritation and a gamble for recovery. Not sure why an LFS would let a fish get this far (no insults) but treatment will be general cure OR coppersafe at level 2.0

I agree - this looks like long-term, "stale" ich. Clown gobies show ich a bit differently than other fish do.

What are you treating with?

It happened very quickly and got worse overnight.

Herbtana is a tonic and is not as effective as other known meds. I believe you are in IK and best would be avloclor or Waterlife Myzazin

I would not use that to treat ich. It is a herbal remedy that does not have solid support for it from aquatic veterinarians or public aquariums.
