Perimeters are good. This is a qt. He has been like this for two weeks not eating. I thought it may have been the coppersafe. I've been told most likely not the coppersafe. Maybe just a weak clown. He has not eaten in two weeks. If it's a virus I was told nothing I can do. I just feel like I need to try something. The way you see him is the way he is all day until night then he goes to a bottom corner. When I turn off the sponge filters he swims around. But when I turn them back on he goes right back to that spot. Man he is breathing heavy. This sucks he was fine two weeks ago at lfs. And he was in copper there for two weeks.

Also, please refrain from posting multiple threads on the same topic - it makes it harder to get consistent answers (and more for us to sift through to help everyone).
Without being able to see the video, I’ll suggest aggression as a possibility. The clown could be intimidated from eating and isn’t allowed to leave the corner.

Sorry I was not sure how all this posting works I will be more mindful in the future.

The one clown died last night. My question is if marine fish die do they float to the top or sink to the bottom. This one was at the top. Maybe bladder disease. i looked at gills and see no evidence of disease also mouth was closed. The last time I had a clown die it was at the bottom of the tank. In both situations I found them in the morning so only like 6 hours past from seeing alive then dead.

So now I only have one clown and wanted a pair. So the decision has to be made in taking a chance to add one or not which is a gamble.

The lfs had these guys in copper for two weeks I had them in copper for two weeks I did a big water change just to see if I could save the one clown. So I'm under therapeutic level. Can you advise what I should do..

Fish are neutrally to slightly negatively buoyant and will sink when they die. Then, after they’ve been dead for a few days or some, decomposition gas can form, causing them to float.
A freshly dead fish that floats either had a swimbladder issue, or had gas in its intestines.
I try to never add new fish to a tank that has had an unexplained fish loss for at least 14 days, but 30 is much safer. Adding a new clown is also tricky as there is no way to really forecast their compatibility.
