We recently bought a fluval protein skimmer. Its beenup for 2 days. I have the water level in the right level and have adjustes the air release valve....... the skimmer is releasing a lot of micro bubbles into the tank. I know its new and says it possiblr for a while but I dont understand how that works and it seems like a lot

Can you get us some new pics , trying get what all this is.

What happens when you shut the air valve off

What level of water is the skimmer sitting in

Have checked the pump to make sure it's attached right

My Buuble-Magnus Curve 9 , made a lot of noise and huge amount of micro bubbles also, I was told(tech guy at BM) to shut all air off and pump would break in at around 7--10 days, if not they would replc....but on day 4 all was fine and it pulls really hood skimmate....

New skimmers all have a break in period, and unfortunately lots of bubbles are what happens. This can take come time for the skimmer to break in, and stop mirco bubbling so much, but rest assured, it does stop.

It is an all in one kit. Thank you for the info. It probably just needs broken in
