Okay so everything was looking terrible in my tank and i checked the salinity when i got off work...

Im assuming when the b f did a w ater change he messed up or something.
It was at 1.035
My salinity is now at
1.032 and im not sure what to do.

I did a 7gl water change andused 1.022 but its still high ...should i change more water or slowly add a low salt level over the next couple days.

I had an urchin die last night and i dont want anything else to die :(

Just take out some water and add just straight RO/DI water, no need to mix it up.

Ok thanks.
All at once or over the next few hours?

I would try to change it slowly to avoid a big swing. You can certainly just replace pulled salt water with fresh RODI until you reach to sg you are shooting for. The big changes in salinity often affect the livestock more than the actual highs or lows in salinity. I once had a client start losing all of his damsel starter fish after they had been in his tank for a month. Come to find out he was topping his tank off with pre mixed salt water instead of fresh when it evaporated. His salinity was 1.048!! Try to get it down in a week or so instead of just a few days. Good luck! Happy Reefing!

+1 to what reefing madness said. Don't do it all at once but slowly over the course of a couple days. I had my nano tank at 1.033 on accident for about a month and everything was fine but I made sure to get it down.
