Guys,

I woke up this morning in a big shock. About 5 of my fish that were in perfectly healthy condition died. Upon inspecting the tank. I noticed my recently purchased magnificent anemone had moved and got a bit of it caught up on my maxspect gyro!!!

I don't know if this is the actual cause of the dead fishes but it must be right?! My skimmer has gone crazy and just foamed. The nem looks in bad shape but looks like it will make it.

I'm just wondering what I can do? Take the nem out to save the rest of the stock or could it be something else?!

I just did a big water change yesterday and everything was happy and eating fine. All my corals are fine. I noticed a fishy smell probably from the nem as well. If I could get some Advice ASAP would be great.

Thanks guys

Sean

if it stopped the flow you probably lost the oxygen out the water, that would definitely kill the fish

It didn't stop the flow. I have a Jebao on the other side of the tank. I'm going to go with ammonia....that's my biggest suspect..

I'm reading up some stuff online with people having similar experiences. I think it's probably the stinging cells of the nem that's killed a lot of the fish...
