Help!

Hello reefers, well ive started noticing that my montipora, chalice , acans are starting to brown. It seems to be reciting around the rims where the browning is starting to stress the coral out. I did a water change yesterday after reading that it might be due to high nutrients, so i did a water test. I used a red sea kit my alk 7.8dkh × ca 450pm × mg 1500ppm.
I need help with trying to figure out what to do. Ive been looking up coral dips , but i dont want to use it if i dont have to. Thanks below are pictures of before and how they look now

Ive had the orange and the green for about 8 months, it barely started reciting about a week ago after i started using reef roids and feeding them individually. I have 2 kessils 360we there around the middle level of the tank .

I dont have a nitrate tester but i will test my phosphates when i get home. Im running the gyre maxspect 130 on a 60gallon running at about 50 %

Been running this tank for about 6 months now. I had a tank running for a year before i transferred over to this tank. Had no problems with them before i started feeding reef roids.

Were you spot feeding them before you started with the reef roids? Either way, if you started something and almost immediately saw a change for the worse, I would stop doing that something...

Could be a bacterial infection. Any way you can remove the corals for a dip?

That is a good point. I was thinking they could have disliked the reef roids so much they stopped eating...

I have used Furan 2 as an antibacterial agent with success. I set up a medical tank and dosed it, however you could dip them for sure.

Yes i went to my lfs and bought some coral rx dip and dipped everything. Before i went to work ill see results tomorrow morning, and also hooked the phosphate reactor back up.

Id spot feed them the coral delight mixture before and had good results. But haven't done spot feeding in this tank besides the bta . I havent feed anything except brine shrimp for the fish . Proly wont spot feed and just pour out the stuff i tank

coral rx will not cut it. I would dip in Furan or gram negative antibacteria med. Set up small tank to let them soak a few hours. May have to do this multiple times. Just make sure to use tank water to keep the parameters the same. Also add some air to the treatment tank.

I agree. Coral RX does not actually contain any medicinal ingredients; I would consider it a homeopathic treatment (it is probably mainly lemon juice, lol). It works very well for killing off hitchhikers on new corals (I dip all my new frags with it), and probably does help kill off mild fungal and bacterial infections, but only on a preventative level...

The white spots are probably from the dead tissue that was washed away with the dip. I hope you can get this under control. This is one of the many hard parts of the hobby. Identifying disease and treating.
