Yes, and I know you are going to ask how much. :)

Do you have a doser?

I think your tank is 58 Gal ??

If you have a doser I would suggest starting with 8 ml daily, dived into 8 doses of each. You base your doses off of the alk level that you want to maintain.

Ok so a few questions for you. When using af components 123+ and u do a water change....if the mag is a bit higher in the new water how will it effect the dosing? Also how much should I start off by dosing? I would love to start tonight. My calcium dropped by 25, alk dropped from 1.6,
Mag dropped by 30..

Increase or decrease the dose according to your alk number and nothing else. I do not test my parameters until two day after a water change and just before the water change. Then I can see if my number and steading, falling, or rising before the new water change.:) I make my adjustment accordingly. Have you purchased a auto doser yet? There are some inexpensive doser that work quite well and this will make dosing some much more consistent and easier.

Working on that still unfortunately

Then I would suggest to bump up the dose to 10ml daily, wait two days before testing. Test for two days straight to see if you have a fall or rise in alk, then adjust up or down with your dosing to reach your desired alk.

I'm thinking that if the nitrates don't start coming down I'll hook the big reactor up to the st with life bio fill and siporax...

Ok guys, I tested two nights ago, I believe 2 days after I started dosing 123+ was a bit short so increased from 8 to 10 ml daily as @jsker recommended, tested tonight, my alk is 7, cal 400
