Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Are they all falling apart at the same time? Are you dosing anything to the tank or running GFO? Can you tie the timing to water changes?

Are you running a large amount of gfo or chemical media?

No over a 4 mth period. And on some corals only one head died, the other is going good. Dont think its with water changes, but not sure. Ill monitor it...

I would worry the most about either low nutrients or poor flow. It's possible the nutrients (mostly NO3 and PO4) are bottoming at zero and rebounding before everything is affected. Low flow could prevent some parts from shedding mucus correctly or allowing waste to not be carried away properly.

Right now I'm running my nutrients a little low to slow the spread of a turf algae while waiting for some new Fuzzy Chitons. To make sure my hammers and zoa's stay happy I am feeding some zooplankton 2 or 3 times a week. Seems to keep them happy. If you have algae in your tank that is spreading, odds are low nutrients aren't a problem. If your readings are near zero and you don't have algae, that would be my first suspect.

You do have other options, such as not running a skimmer 24/7 or simply feeding your tank a little more.
