can anyone tell me what's happening here

I can not make out much detail. It looks like it's either the coral expelling waste and or zooxenthellae. Just to be on the safe side though google "brown jelly disease corals" and compare images.

Probably want to consider quarantining coral right now just in case it is BJD which spreads quickly. Lot of "cures" posted on Web.

It looked more stringy then jelly

EDIT: 99% sure. Could be brown jelly Algae but if it's gone and don't see it any more he be taking a maddddd crap...
