So basically long story short, I replaced my main pump and when i tried to replace it the bulkhead came loose i went to screw it back on it would not budge tried everything. I had to cut it off with a dremel. So O replaced the bulkhead and i still got a leak! i took a look closer to see that the acrylic hole might of been chipped! Now I am stuck with a leak! I dont know what to do should I seal off the chamber how would i go about that?

ya its inside the tank my thought is when i was removing the old one i may have chipped the acrylic

I'll bet the nut is not tight enough. Looks like pretty tight space. I had a similar problem when I built my tank.

Do you have a strap wrench to get the nut tighter? Like this one.

no i dont but looks like a good idea!

I dont know much but from setting up my tank with several bulkheads all leaks were resolved by tightening the bulkhead more, as long as it is big enough to cover the hole

I would think it would be pretty tricky to chip the inside acrylic.

That looks like a tricky spot to tighten a bulkhead. Do you have one of the metal bulkhead tools? I've found that when you have a leaking bulkhead it either needs to be a little tighter (I have cracked bulkheads by over tightening them) or the area where the o-ring sits needs to be cleaned better. On really stubborn leaks I've used a very thin smear of silicon on the tank side of the o-ring.

Good luck!
