Help!!!!!

So I was in the process of setting up a 40 gallon breeder and had my tank inside....well when my mother in law was here watching our infant son she decided to clean the tank with glass cleaner inside and out.... not knowing the effects of glass cleaner on the tank... my question is it totally ruined or can i use vinegar water to nutrilze the glass cleaner????

Just give it a good washing in vinegar and rinse really well. It will be fine.

Most glass cleaners are either alcohol or ammonia based. A good rinse will solve the problem.

Thank you everyone... apparently she just used a vacuum to suck all the step out.... I was just scared didn't want chemicals to leach out and crash my tank when I transfer tanks

My lfs actually uses glass cleaner
But no, just use some vinegar water and you’ll be fine lol
