How would one go about mounting this adj strip
JPEG_20180114_102732.jpg

Can u trace the back onto the wood and cut a hole to where the faceplate catches around the edges of the wood? Then use some screws to attach it. Hard to tell if the faceplate lip is big enough. Could also use strong Velcro, but sometimes that doesn't work so well.

Well you could take the cord out and reconnect it after it's mounted, but those grommets can be a pain sometimes. Maybe someone else has a better idea!

I'd notch the plywood for the cord, maybe an inch or so to allow for the cord to be on ether side and mount the strip on to the plywood using the holes on the face of the strip. Done.

Cut a rectangular hole in the plywood smaller than the face of the switches....certainly on the left and right sides so the screw holes don't show. With short screws, mount this on the back side of the plywood. The switches are recessed the thickness of the plywood, and no issue with the cord.

Ok so I got it in. But it's kind of ugly I'm trying to think of a way to cover it up maybe make a Frame
