Does my clown look like it has velvet... his fave is kind of flaky... gonna go put him in the frag tank...

The black spots are probably something not to worry about my clownfish have them to I think it’s coral stings .
 
Velvet wouldn't present as a black spot - that could be turbellarian worms (often called "black ich") or hypermelanization caused by anemone or coral stings. Would depend on the nature of the spots . . .

It's a bit difficult to see whether he's got any of the white spotting of ich or velvet, or the haze-and-peeling of Brooklynella, with all the algae on the glass.

Dont wanna lose everything over a clown fish... hes been in the frag tank for the past few days... put him in with general population today and it just freaked me out... hes just really lethargic and hanging out in rhe corner
