I have been battling this algae months on end. I have been doing weekly 10 gallon water changes in my tank. I have tried dr tims waste away but nothing is working. Could anyone identify the algae and tell me what I could do to help

Tell us more about your tank, like the size, when it was started up, how you cycled it, parameters etc...

My tank is a 50 gallon. I cycled by adding ammonia and let the tank cycle for about 3 months. I added live sand and live bacteria but i insisted on waiting. I started cycling October 26th, 2016.
