Can anyone advise what these are? I’m kind of paranoid at the moment because I never seen this before and yes I’m a newbie returning to the hobby currently babysitting my cousins 120 gal mixed coral & fish aquarium.

Best bet is to siphon out as many as you can and then run flatworm exit
It's a reef safe flatworm eliminater. Just be careful as they release toxins when they die so run carbon. That's why you siphon out as many as you can first. If alot die at once the toxins build up and livestock starts to die.

OMG...thank you for you prompt reply & advice. I’m atraid to dose as it’s not my tank it’s my cousins and Im afraid to even make a decision like so to jeopardize his livestock.

Would it be overkill to coral dip the drags in the tank and reintroduce/re-aclimate?

No but they are all over the rocks, it won’t help. Sorry this is happening to your cousins tank. Hopefully he has some wrassses.

Again I would take no action until your cousin comes back. I'd hate for his entire tank to get wiped out while hes away

I already spoke to him and we"re going to syphon as you stated would help. And we"re planning on to purchase a 6 line wrasse to control or eliminate as best as possible. If results get worse we will treat the tank and before so take out all the inhabitants and go from there. Once again thanks for your feedback and help on this.

thanks for your input on this. He owns no wrasses so i think he's going that route and see what happens. In the meanwhile i'll be syphoning.

If it helps any the best way that I've seen this done is to take a siphon hose and tie a filter sock around one end and put it down in the sump and then use the hose up top to siphon water out and suck up the flat worms so your waters just going from the main tank to the sump and catching the flat worms and you don't have to do a water change

Thsts exactly what I’m going to do thanks. I’m heading to the local LFS and getting the tubing & filter sock of some sort. Thanks again.
