My clown is not looking good. I did a fresh water dip but it was not easy to see if anything is wrong. May be flukes, looks like some discolored areas on his body that are not obvious in the pic. There is no way to get all of my fish into another tank for treatment. Should I just treat the DT with Prazipro?

Can you get a picture with more whites? Does it look like the body is slime covered at all?

Dip would and should have revealed flukes if that was the case. I suspect a bacterial infection from the tail rot. A better picture would be very helpful.

It is impossible to get her to turn sideways for a good pic. Breathing hard, flashing and what looks like cloudyness on the face but like I said I could see no flukes after the FWD. My other clown may be showing some tail issues as well but not nearly as severe. My other fish appear to be fine. I could likely catch the clowns and put them in bucket to treat them but I would never be able to catch the other fish. I have prazipro and metroplex on hand. Suggestions?

Looks like a combination of aggression and brooknella treated with furan or teramyacin. Sometimes clowns respond well to PraziPro

I would get all of your fish into a QT, treat with a FW dip or preferably a Ruby Reef Rally bath (90 min) on the way to QT then dose Metro at 2 scoops per 10G for 14 days.
You could also add Kanaplex and Furan2 or NFG (Nitrofuracin Green) to help with any secondary infections, then as noted above the DT fallow for 6 weeks.

Ruby Reef is Acriflavine based

Is one of these clowns the new addition? I would separate them if this is the case.

Thanks for the suggestions. Here are a couple of more pics. Would Brook cause the ragged fins? Like I said the other fish are not showing any symptoms at the moment but who knows. The infected clown has been in the tank for almost 2 years. about a month ago I added another clown and a kole tang. They were both treated at the lfs for parasites. I treated them with Copper Pro and Metro for about 10 days but the full strength copper was only in for 7 or 8 days so maybe a waste of time. I have on hand: Metroplex, Copper Pro, Prazipro and Formaline. I am going to catch the two clowns and put them in a bucket until I can get a QT set up. I sure wish I could avoid trying to catch the Tang, Antias and the Midas Blenny. Any chance they might not be infected or if it is not Brook but something bacterial maybe I could safely treat the DT.

Those are better pics, how is the aggression between two clowns? The reason I suggested brook was “the cloudy face and heavy breathing”.

Can you get a closer pic to show the cloudy face?

Its hard to tell (for me) from the pictures. The ragged fins suggest something is bother it - which is causing stress which can lead to less resistance to parasites etc. I would be careful with adding a lot of empiric treatments unless there is clear disease (the treatments, dips, can further stress the fish). I would start with careful observation for any aggression - then proceed from there. (again as others have said it certainly could be brook, or a secondary bacterial infection - and you should treat accordingly - its just hard to tell from the pictures whats really necessary.

I put the clowns into a bucket. It is next to impossible for me to get a good pic but I appreciate everyone working with me on this. The clowns have been together for a month. Initially they hung out but the last few days they have stayed at opposite ends of the tank. I have not caught them being aggressive. The new one is a lot smaller than the old one. The lfs that I bought them from is very highly regarded. He buys from a supplier he trusts, he has not had problems and he does a week treatment for parasites. I realize this is not qt but he at least watches them. I did the metro and copper for 10 days, 7-8 at full strength so they have been treated. My plan is to treat the clowns with something (suggestions), metro or prazi? It could be wishful thinking but I don't see much cloudiness on the fish but they are in a white bucket. IMG_0740.JPG I don't want to mess with the other fish unless I see issues. I would destroy my rock work trying to catch the tang and antias.
