My fish has had a white cyst looking thing on it’s head for about 2 weeks and another that looks like it’s growing underneath the skin. I’ve had him quarantined for the 2 weeks in an 82 degree F tank with aquarium salt. It swims normal and eats just fine. But I’m not seeing any changes and would like to reunite it soon with the other fish before it becomes lonely. I don’t know what this is growing or how to treat it. Please help!

Those white cysts contain lots of parasitic spores. Best to keep it alone in a QT until the cyst either breaks or is absorbed by the body. Some have tried to drain those cysts with very mixed results.

Best to feed the fish high quality foods mixed with vitamins to boost the fish's immune system.

Food + Focus (a binder) + vitamins (especially recommend Beta Glucan - see more info below)

Thank you!
Would you happen to know how long it might take before the cysts break or show some kind of change?
