nitrate 0ppm
calcium-390
alk. according to api test instructions my level is at 140-200 ppm

I just ordered red sea testing kit that has all the essential kits..

my red monti is still growing however it has the algae on it..

How old is your tank? If less than a 18 months then this is probably the normal bio cycle. If you are really unhappy with the algae then I and others have had great success with dosing Vibrant.

Your calcium is a little low. Shoot for 420. Also, know that you need magnesium for the corals to uptake the Ca and Alk. If you can afford it, get a magnesium test kit.

So my tank is about 3 months old.. all the other pieces of rock I have except the ones that’s covered in algae was live rock.. I’ll look into vibrant

This likely didn't occur overnight. What has changed in your system since you started noticing the algae?

I ran into an ick problem lost all my fish.. then nuked it, and started again with one cardinal it was quarantined for 20 days. And I added a 10pound Fiji branch live rock..

Where can I find this vibrant. Can’t find it on marine depot

Take rocks out
Add beneficial bacteria to tank (vibrant is one kind but seachem stability or clarity will work too)
Scrub rocks with toothbrush in ro/di
Put rocks back into tank
Repeat until hair algae doesn’t come back

Your tank has essentially become a refugium, hence the zero n & p on your test kits. In reality, nitrates and phosphates were probably way too high and the hair algae started insta-absorbing it, creating the false reading of low nutrients. The hair algae is also out-competing coralline algae and probably to a lesser extent bacteria as well. The most effective way to fix this is mechanical removal of the algae and creating an environment that’s more conducive to bacterial growth.
