Added my first fish after cycle and it was been fine for 2 weeks now i found it upside down near the filter.Thought was dead touched it and it moved but is now swimming upside down and 360 degrees.
Salinity is 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
PH 8.0
Temp 78.5

I mean i don't understand why. Seems like it will die soon.

Should see Nitrates after a cycle. Did you do a water change?

sorry to hear that the fish isn’t doing well! :(

• how long has the tank been set up?
• what kind of fish?
• date on those last parameters?
• what are you feeding?

Tank is a month now i used Fritz Turbo start , Carribsea Life Rock, Carribsea Live sand fiji pink

I test everyday and same results

O ammonia
0 Nitrites
0 Nitrates

PH varies 7.8 to 8.2

Its a Bicolor Chromis

Feeding Frozen Food Gamma Cuisine

Is there enough surface agitation for oxygen exchange? Like a power head pointing up a bit.

Sometimes fish die and we never know exactly what happened. Sorry.

Please post a pic of FTS( full tank shot).

test results never showed a spike in ammonia and a later spike in nitrite?

Loads of surface agitation and a small air pump in the sump to raise PH

what size tank ?

the rise in ammonia came first and then the rise in nitrites followed days later? or did both parameters appear to occur simultaneously?

Its 25 Gallon including sump

Rise in ammonia the days after nitrites

Could it be Ick i see a small white mark not really a dot ?

then* days after (i believe you meant)

ick could be a possibility but that would more likely appear as a peppering all over the body, not just one small white mark.

i suspect water chemistry, personally. i recommend a 25% water change and another tomorrow (if the fish pulls through). let that fresh batch mix at least several hours to half a day. (>__<)’

i’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Ok ill mix up a batch now and do a 25% change then mix another batch for 7hrs to 24hrs and add that the next day.

Thank you hope all goes well kinda not motivating if i lose my first fish.

Lets see thank you tho

Do you have any more fritz turbo? Did you add an ammonia source the first time? It seems like you may have added the fritz the first time but there wasn’t an actual cycle. I would try to get some of that or another instant cycle (fluval, dr. Tims, Red Sea, anything) thing just to make sure you have everything covered.

Also you don’t want that bubbler in there, it’ll get covered in gross salt creep.

I used the whole bottle of Fritz, but how can the ammonia be 0 if there was no cycle?

Update fish didn't make it :(

Can't see any signs of disease or parasite

What do i do now ?

Big water change ?
Feed tank ammonia ?

I would add a small amount of ammonia, verified by your test kits. 1 to 2ppm. In 24hrs it should read 0 ammonia. Frizt, live rock and live sand your tank should be cycled. Still I would expect to see a reading on Nitrate after the 24 hrs.

Sorry about your fish. Don’t give up, it happens even when we do everything right.
