so i just got a copperband butterfly and a scopas tang yesterday and neither one is eating the frozen brine shrimp my tang is looking terrible his stomach is sucked in and im extremely worried. i saw him pick at the rocks all day and i even have seaweed on the wall but he doesnt even look at the food. my butterfly just chills on one side of the tank and it looks like his back fin is getting picked away but i never seen another fish around him and he looks at the food and even went after a couple pieces but didnt even try to eat it. What should i do?

try soaking the food in garlic, live mysis shrimp also might help, i think you can buy them from liveaquaria

to start copper band butterfly's are picky eaters.Secondly you say you got the fish yesterday, what this tells me is that the tang was likely in bad shape to begin with and you probably made a bad purchase. Lastly if you just got the fish I wouldn't expect them to eat right away so give it some time.

Give some info on tank there in. Size, filtration, water parameters, age?

Fish can take a few days to eat, but like said already to look that bad that fast something was wrong before or something wrong in tank now.
