Ok so I started my cycle on may 10. Dropped a bottle of dr.tims nitrafying bacteria. My ph is 7.9 and salinity is 1.26 my temp is 77.4

Do I keep dosing ammonia or just let it be?

ok but what dosing have you done? one time? daily? what was the high for ammonia? your nitrite is still high so you haven't built up enough of that bacteria. what water changes have you done to remove nitrate? have you looked at the cycle threads? good luck Lucky! welcome to the R2R fam.

I use dr tim ammonium chloride. I dosed ammonia as recommended and had about 6ppm the other day of ammonia and now it's pretty much no ammonia

so that is good, you have the ammonia eating bacteria, your ammonia converted to nitrite. add smaller dosage of Amm. Chloride to get 1-2 Ammonia that goes to zero in 24 hours while you wait for the nitrite to zero out. that will signal the end of cycle IMO.
