HELP!!!

So I just bought a torch coral and got home and found out that I have NO DIP and my nearest LFS is 100 miles away. What do I do?

I would at minimum do a freshwater dip, tooth brush anything without flesh. And cross your fingers lol.

You have the ability to quarantine for the time being? A 5 gallon bucket with a heater, salt water, and small current would work?

Then purchase dip by travel or amazon and fix it in a day or two?

What if I toothbrush with some hydrogen peroxide?

as with anything, its up to you... all dips are use at your own risk obviously... but yes I have. you asked for help with what to do, i gave you a proven option that works for many.

I also use Bayer. Have many many times without issue, and pest free tank. Could find some at local hardware store now if you wanted to.

Where do you get logos iodine? Not in the same boat just future reference.

I third that bayer works great, just gotta buy the right one. Look it up and do some research. You'll find lots of support behind it.

No reefing buddies nearby?

I didn't think of Bayer's earlier, but we've used it without problem and know that a LOT of people do. Follow instructions precisely. Some videos overstate the potential harm to people... just don't drink it.

For what it's worth: I've killed a coral with hydrogen peroxide dip, but not with Bayer's.
