Hello, i just signed up for this app. i have a 400 gallon saltwater reef and have a big problem. my lfs told me to get emerald crabs for my bubble algae as they all do. i bought six and one was Huge and he is eating all my leathers etc. he hasnt killed any yet. how do i get him out? is there a fish that eats him? please help.

Bottle traps with raw fish or shrimp inside are the easiest methods. Good Luck!

I am going to agree with Ippyroy as in my experience, manually trying to fish them out is impossible. I'd really recommend staying away from emeralds as not only can some predate on coral, I've had experiences where they have actually killed fish.
