Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any advice for my tank. Currently, it seems as if there is no nutrients in the tank. The only algae that grows is on the back of the tank. Nothing in the tank itself. I have very few corals, but it seems as if nothing is growing. It also appears that no matter how much supplementation I add, my parameters never rise. The tank has been up for about 6 months. Pineapple sponges and digitate hydrosis are starting to pop Here are my tank specs, parameters, and live stock:
Specs-
150 gal reef
75 gal sump
20 mangrove refugium
Protein skimmer
Water Parameters-
Salinity:1.025
PH:8.1
Phosphate:0.01
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate:0
Calcium:455
KH:7 (trying to get to 10)
Mag:1320
Livestock-
1 large, 1 med and 2 small Kenya trees
Green star polyp
1 zoanthid colony of 11
1 RBTA
1 blue velvet damsel
1 coral beauty
1 cleaner wrasse
1 neon goby
1 purple fire fish
2 clowns
1 watchman goby
1 emerald green crab
1 cleaner shrimp
5 hermits

Thanks for the help

Sounds like your mangroves are soaking up your nutrients.

Your P04 is good, but N03 isn't. You could feed more to the fish or take your skimmer offline for a while to see if you can get the nitrate up. Last ditch would be to dose Nitrate.
