Any wrasses in the tank ? Looks more like a mucus webbing wrasse create for their sleep protection

I was thinking same as Vette, maybe something from a snail or irritated coral. Did you try and clean it off the glass?

Doesn't look like any spaghetti worm I've ever seen and I've seen about 4 different kinds. I'm not sure I've ever even heard of a hair worm.

It looks more like a mucus that some fish do produce. So what livestock do you have in the tank?

Clowns, Valentini puffer, coral beauty, lawnmower Blenny, rest is CUC, shrimp, crabs, snails, feather duster, sea cucumber

We just need more information!!! I could see it being mucus of some sort.

Does it move, because if it's a worm, it won't stay on the glass....it will be motoring along.

Otherwise, I can agree it's some sort of alien mucus.

Wasn’t on the glass was all in the water and this morning it is gone!
