So Today was my BDAY and I currently have a YWG. A family member gave me a ranfords goby. I have a 13.5 evo with modified refugium. Can they live together? I can't return it so I was wondering if I should heat a bucket up until I can or if they are compatible.

They may be okay, they occupy different zones in the areas they swim. I would watch out considering it is a smaller tank for aggression. Just watch and see how they get along and go from there. Watch out for the diet on the rainfords, was it captive bred or wild caught. Most captive will eat prepared food some may not, most wild won't eat prepared food so you need a good copepod population and algae.

Don't know about nori, you can always try it and see if it will take it. It just depends on the fish, all of them are different in what they will and will not eat.
