Does anyone know that the brown stuff is ?Maybe diatoms ?

How old/new is tour tank? Looks like basic uglies to me, like diatoms. But I imagine you would need a scope to be sure, although I cannot be the one to verify even if you did.

3 months old is prime time for diatoms. As long as you’re using 0 TDS RO/DI water to make your saltwater for water changes, you shouldn’t be adding any additional silicates to your tank and they’ll go away on their own after a few weeks or so when they’ve used up the silicates present from your sand and/or dry rock. If you want to actively get rid of them, adding a few trochus snails to your CUC wouldn’t hurt.
