Hi guys can anyone help? I had a torch coral in my reef that was doing great. I went to a coral farmers market and purchased two more torches and one of them was pretty large. I placed them close to my first torch and the larger torch was barely touching my old torch. It ended up reseeding and I moved it and has stayed smaller then it originally was. The smaller new torch i purchased with the large torch I ended up placing in the exact same location i had just moved my old torch from and that new torch ended up dying. My water parameters are fine and stable. I Know torches can stay together and touch but can some torches kill other torches?

Always wanna leave room when something can sting, I know everything online says “no problem” but that’s a blanket statement. I lost a very expensive torch this way too, now I keep them separated a little bit, so at most they slap fight not full on Muay Thai grapple
