Can anyone I'd what the white is? It is raised from the skin. Angel is the only fish that has it.

Also of,course how to treat him? I can isolate in a hospital tank.

I am trying to add video

Thanks

video won't show for me, but if Snoop 67 is right, lymphosystis is associated with a viral infection, can be associated with stress and right diet and environment; tends to be 1) self limiting and 2) non-infectious.

diet, aminos, shelter and water quality will all help. If that is what it is.

You didn't cycle your tank and you put fish in?

Or do you mean water change? if so, 30% at a time tends to be good for larger changes
No I didn't cycle, but I need completely cycle all the water...problem is I have to be smart, but truly need a massive change. I tried to do 40 gl 20 % every 3 days for about a month and it did not much to reduce the nitrates. I have reduced feeding since.

The tank basically predators, CuC are just snacks, others like seahares cannot handle the nitrates.

I have lost the eco balance in the tank....

getting a predator tank without cycling is asking for ammonia trouble, literally the worst fish you can get for a in-fish nitrogen cycle.

If I misunderstood, and you mean that you cycled,
1. sea-hares need lots of lots of food and will spit poison and kill your tank if in a predatory tank, so dont do that

2. Do some cleaning yourself, you need to in a predator tank, your nitrates are sky high and a water change won't stop it, follow better feeding practice, if CuC are deing very fast they won't help clean, just make things worse, gravel vac your tank at least once a week

3. if its a predator tank its likely pretty large, and there is likely sump space for a fuge or algae reactor to lower nitrates and phosphates

4. get copepods or amphipods as they will reproduce much faster than CuC, be eaten less and eat more in a tank where CuC dies fast

I chnage out 20% water weekly and vacuum substrate every time. I have been very successful with seahare love them.

200gl tank, 40gl sump Santa Monica's algea scrubber....need to add one more though.

2 good sized eels, 4 triggers, puffer, queen angle, naso tang, cow fish file fish and a wrasse

I vinegar dosed for about 8 weeks.

Agree I over feed, recently stopped feeding cube as there is too much waste as it melts....feeding more chunky foods....basically shrimp scallops squid clams, and various fish like tuna and baramundi from my butcher.

Pods are interesting...not considered them before....how would I size neeed for 200 gl.

they. breed, especially if. you have any macro algae

Sorry here is the video

Sorry - just seeing this now. That isn't Lymphocystis. It also isn't likely related to water quality.

Has it grown larger since the video was taken?
How long has it had it overall?
Did it seem to grow from the inside, erupting outwards, or did it start on the outside?
