So I have had this hammer for a few months and it was doing quite well. I purchased this torch on Saturday and now both of them are looking a little funky. I’ve checked the parameters that I can using salifert kits. I will include pictures of parameters and coral. I also just did about a 40% water change tonight. Also salinity is at 1.027

I'd get your salinity down to between 1.024-1.026. And you want at least some nitrates. What are you supplementing/feeding them? Mine seem to like phytoplankton, Reef Roids, ReefEnergy AB+ and other coral supplements.

I just switched lights about 3 weeks ago. I have 2 hydra 52s over a 75. I probably should be feeding more frequently. But I try and go about once a week. I use Reef energy and reef roids. Tanks almost 3 years old. I’d say the most aggressive fish I have in there is a 6line lol.

Bacterial infection

I've got one going on with selected zoas closed up for weeks. Ive checked parameters, lighting,, flow, source water, everything until I'm blue in the face

Not much I can do. WC nor UVC won't do anything. Bac infection will just recycle if I kill 99% of it. Like having cancer

Treating with Chemiclean is like starting over killing ALL bacteria. Like starting from the ground up again. You will lose a % of corals doing chemiclean

Just have to wait it out and see if it dies off in several months
