Help!

I have a baby tomini tang he is only an inch long. I just put some chemi clean in but within The past 30 minutes he has been shaking like clownfish do when the mate or whatever. Does anyone know this behavior? He is just so small I don’t want anything to happen to him. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Sorry to hear that… my first guess is, due to the Chemiclean treatment, it is very likely that the oxigen levels are low in the tank.

Do you have a skimmer? If so, turn it on without the waste collection cup. That might help in the short term.

If you have an air stone, I would definitely use it as well…

Besides, I would also consider a water change.

For now…pull the chemiclean out immediately. Transfer fish to a separate 10/G tank with air-stone and fresh saltwater for 1-2 days. Let him recover and then maybe you can put him back in.

How big is the tank and how much chemiclean did you add?
