i just find it weird that the tank was fine with everything in it for two months then the week i add a bi colored angel two fish die and another stops eating, my flame and mandarin i got within 2 weeks of each other so its been over four months for both and they were doing great until this week, i didnt have the money to set up a quarentine tank before so i would go in every other day to watch the fish i wanted except for the bi colored which my friend bought and put it in my tank

its 60 all of my fish are small and once they start getting bigger i planned an upgrade to 90

Did you notice anything out of the ordinary on the fish that died? Honestly, there may be some aggression going. You have 3 fish with big personalities in a small tank. This tends to cause issues to arise. Also, it is extremely important to QT all new additions.

i have a quarentine tank now, but the only fish that has ever showed aggression is my yellow tang he bullied my blue tang and the bi colored at first

my biggest fish is a 4in blue tang and the only aggression it shows is when i feed them it tries to eat everything that comes in

What are the actual numbers for; nitrates/nitrites and ammonia.
What fish do you all have in the tank -- including any that died recently.
What do you have for filtration?
How often do you do water changes, and do you use tap or RO/DI water?

everything is at 0 but my ph is at 8.0 since i took the bi colored out i just have a blue tang and a yellow and two clownfish , my flame angel and mandarin both died this week 3 days apart, i have a biowheel filter and i used tap water that i let sit with the stress coat in it for 24 hours

It is possible that there may have been aggression going on that was happening when you where not around.

I think the best thing to do is watch your fish as much as you can for the next week. Your parameters sound good and considering how long its been running it shouldn't be a crash of the system unless you do not have the correct amount of rock for your size tank - I may have missed how much you have...so it could be a crash of your system. Tangs and angels can be messy inhabitants.

If your yellow tang was the bully to begin with it would be odd to see it acting this way now. The only thing I can think of that would both it would be the clowns which can be particularly agressive. Keep an eye on them, with more fish that like to move around a lot like your tangs and angels the clown's territory might have been pushed back more than they liked.

I could easily be wrong, but I haven't encountered anything from tangs or angels that will kill off a tank of fish without giving signs on the fish themselves first. I used to work for a type of wholesaler for solomon island fish and the biggest problem was ich...nothing else every came up concerning tangs and angels.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on anything here. Could have easily missed a few things.

If you didn't QT the bi-color, I believe that to be the root of your issue. The bi-color had something, and passed it onto your other fish.

since i qt the bi color the yellow has been acting the same but eating a little more not a lot tho, and i dont think my clowns could ever be the problem theyre tiny and theyre the ones that get bullied when a new fish comes in, i have about 30 pounds of rock i didnt plan on having any until my brother bought the mandarin so im putting a little bit in at a time and i have 5 more pounds in the qt tank that i plan on putting in soon
