Can someone tell me if I should be worried by this. Its not gotten any bigger since I got the tank two weeks ago but I got this tank second hand and noticed soon as I got it. Done a little reading in to it and I think it could be a bad seam it's on the front right hand side of the tank and this is the only place its in. I'm no good with things like this so I could be wrong but I'm guessing it is a bad seam.

If growing larger I would be concerned.

Am I right in thinking its the seam?
The areas that reach out from the corners aren't an issue. The silicone where the glass meets is the area you need to worry about.

Just checked that and it seems fine where the glass meets. I'll keep an eye on it though. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.

The larger the tank , the more critical this is. I too thought should be fine until it leaked as a pinhole. This is obviously a corner bead and you will have to weigh on either watching it or do a reseal which was my fix for the tank I had,

Only problem with resealing is I would have nowhere to put the fish when doing it. What did you do with your fish when resealing?

Rubbermaid type tub for livestock.
Resealing mistake is when you place a new bead over the old. With a sharp razor blade you want to cut into the corner then scrape away the sealant on both sides removing it all. Then wipe area well with alcohol. Thereafter apply a good bead of Aquarium sealant such as aqueon tank sealant int the corner all the way across or top to bottom leaving no gaps. Then take a wet finger and pack it in to a smooth application and allow to dry at least 36 hours to 48 hours. Thereafter, fill tank with tap water only and allow to sit overnight. If no leaks, drain and reset tank to saltwater
USE AQUARIUM SEALANT AND NOT SILICONE
I have repaired over 80 tanks for customers from 20g to 300g and only had one leak as the customer filled the tank right away instead of allowing it to dry as told to
