HELP !

Tank is 3 months old just a few snails & 2 fish .
60g tank
heater malfunctioned .. and cooked my whole tank up 106 degrees when I got home everthing is dead water didn’t smell bad yet pulled everthing out that was dead except 1 fish under rock I can’t get too . What’s my next step currently have temp at 89 degrees it’s going down did my bacteria die too ? Will I need to recycle ?

Oh no
Add an inkbird to next heater which will shut it down before it gets high
Do a major water change and add micro bacter XLM or similar and redo cycle

Yeah you are probably going to need to recycle, but... Don't do anything drastic link rinse with fresh water. Bacteria are way less complex than fish and can survive adverse conditions for brief periods. You're going to need them to process a lot of organics out though. I agree with Vette here. Do a big water change or two and dump in a new bottle of bacteria. Then monitor your ammonia nitrite and nitrate for two weeks and see what happens.

I'm sorry that this happened, but people could actually learn a lot from this if you carefully test the above parameters and share your results in an update to this thread.

My bet is that this turns out to be a mini cycle. Let us know!!
