Hi. My tank is 8 months old now and over the past month or two I have noticed alot of small white things growing on my rock and frogspawn coral. Does anyone know what they are and if I should be concerned.

I have no clue of what it is but i had it for the first 4 years in my aquarium - now I can´t find them anymore. Its egg or something like that from some organisms. Never seen any harm with them, for me it is a keeper as long as they want to stay and reproduce itself

Sincerely Lasse

Thanks for the help.

I think they are spiropids - I too had the same in one tank, and they went away over time -
