What is going on with my condy nem?? Water changes are done weekly as well as checking and maintaining water params.. recently got it and was doing perfect for the first 2 weeks

Params were all good minutes phos. Added a liquid to lower last Friday when i do water changes / change params. Tank age 6 months. Stocking - 1 clown, 1 turbo snail, and the nem.
"All good" is not helpful information... What are your actual levels? And what did you add for phosphate reduction?

First things first .
A anemone that’s not attached isn’t a good sign at all .

Instead of dosing try to maintain stable parameters .

What lights are over the system ?
Nicrew 50 watt. I had it on a high setting and it would shrivel. I turn down the light and it opened up and then this happened

When you change your water, you are lowering your phosphates...when you add your liquid remover, you are further lowering them. This is fast change in water chemistry can have an adverse effect on your livestock. I'm not even sure why you are using it? As algae grows in your tank, it will use up the phosphates...which is a good thing.

My phos was super high and i read online that water changes aren’t enough. But note taken I’ll probably won’t use that liquid remover. Hopefully it recovers :/ anything else that’s wrong that i did or have? Also thank you so much for helping and quick replies! <3

Have you tried reattaching the anemone to some of your rock? An anemone that is floating around on the bottom of the tank is not a good sign.

Had a Sabae in the 80s that was doing great until one day it spewed its guys out and perished within 48 hrs. Nothing changed other than I fed it a shrimp from the grocery store as I had done once every week.

No WC therefore my parameters rarely changed and nitrates at or under 20 ppm. No clue on phosphates. Didn’t even know one had to check those then.

Sometimes things just go south. Would have been nice to have had ICP then. Might be something to consider now. Doubt calcium and magnesium matter in this case. Alkalinity seems just right. However, what’s ammonia at? Anything missing that might have died? Details matter and every stone must be turned otherwise will remain a mystery as has my own nem

How long would i have to hold it there for? I tried to lay it on the rock and kinda balance it so it can attach but it just falls back down. With Wave maker off return pump off.

There are a lot of things you haven't provided here that could help figure out what the problem is:

- Tank size
- Actual water parameters
- Photos of the entire tank...not just the corner of it.

8 gallons
The actual water parameters is the screen shot i sent you with the liquid remover. I use an app to save them. I’ll send pic of tank now

Put some extra pieces of shrimp since it’s mouth is kinda inside out… even though i fed it yesterday. But not really sure if it ate since it was all over the place.
