one of my 2 toadstools looks like it’s not long for this world. the second one however, (on left in panorama photo) looks perfectly healthy.
no fish are bothering it, mild flow, 120 or so par mid-day for 3 hours or so.

I’m not sure about toadstools , but If it’s anything like a Kenya tree they sometimes just close up and throw a tantrum for a couple of days
 
Thanks…unfortunately it’s going on many weeks. Was getting better briefly ( couple of days or so) but then down hill. Funny thing is other looks to be doing really well
 
Try putting it under some heavy flow. Toadstools (like most leathers) will shed their skin every few months in order to remove detritus buildup. If there isn't enough flow, the shed skin will stay stuck to the coral and cause problems. Given that the other leather is happy, I'd say this is your best bet. Good luck!
